What?
What is the purpose of your new blog?
This is a short blog to document my Run For Red Pandas.
Run For Red Pandas?
Yes, it is a virtual half marathon to raise awareness and funds for the Red Panda Network.
What's a virutal half marathon? Does it mean almost a half marathon?
No, I plan to run the whole 13 miles and 192½ yards! It means that although there will be lots of people (hopefully) running, they will not all run in the same place or at the same time.
Hmmm, so when will you run it?
Although you are allowed to seperate the distance and run the total between the 22nd May and the 5th June, I intend to run the whole half marathon on Friday 22nd May.
Really? Are you going to manage that?
I'll try! If I don't manage to complete it, I will review my options, but probably try to choose another date and attempt the whole distance again.
You're going to ask me for money, aren't you?
Not really! If you want to contribute to a brilliant charity that does fantastic work, it will of course be greatly appreciated, but my main goal is to raise awareness of the charity and the excellent work they continue to do.
But I can only help by giving money, right?
No, you can share information about the charity and I would very much welcome any messages of support - it will genuinely make it easier for me knowing people have wished me luck, because I will think of that as I run.
What will the rest of the blog be about?
I'll write some posts with a little more information. Probably not much about the charity, as you can find the information on their website: https://www.redpandanetwork.org/ I plan to write a little about my (lack of) preparation and the conditions in which I plan to run it. Afterwards, I'll review how it went, whether I succeeded, how it felt, things like that.

Well done Will, good luck! What a fantastic cause x
